Spring 2008 Volunteer Events Earn DOUBLE store credit!
We have been invited to spread the word about reuse at dozens of spring festivals this year. But until Ruthie, our outreach director, figures out how to be in four places at once, we're depending on volunteers to staff our booths. It's easy - all you gotta do is tell folks how cool this place is.
SPECIAL BONUS! If you work at one of the following events, you will receive DOUBLE STORE CREDIT! That's right, you'll get $10 an hour in store credit for staffing our booth this spring (New volunteers also receive double store credit for attending an April or May orientation).
Please contact Ruthie@CommunityForklift.com or call 301-985-5180 right away if you can work a shift at any of the following events (note: you don't need to attend an orientation first). And please call immediately if you know of any other festivals we should attend - Forklift Fans in DC & VA, I'm talking to you!

Community Forklift really needs volunteers for this weekend at Ben Brenman Park. Folks will be bringing items to donate – and we need someone to be there to collect the building materials. You'd be staffing our table, handing out flyers, accepting items we can use, and issuing tax letters.

Ruthie will be attending a job fair at Morgan State University, hoping to recruit some bright young interns. However, this means we will be short-staffed at the store – so we could really use your help in greeting customers, helping them find items, and accepting donations.
