Community Forklift Partners
Deconstruction Services
703-280-1719 or www.DeconstructionServices.com
Deconstruction Services provides an alternative to demolition in the greater Washington DC area. Rather than bulldozing a structure, the deconstruction crew dismantles it carefully so that a majority of the material can be recycled or reused, which may provide the homeowner with a sizeable tax deduction. The reusable materials are donated to Community Forklift, and other area non-profits. Deconstruction can cost the same or less than traditional demolition, because the property owner spends less in landfill fees in addition to receiving a tax deduction. Deconstruction is a growing industry that creates jobs, reduces waste, and makes repairs more affordable for low-income housing groups, homeowners, nonprofits, and small businesses!
